Gloss & Glow by Lida – Nail Salon Terms & Conditions

1. Appointments & Bookings

Appointments can be booked through our website, Instagram, or by phone.

All appointments are subject to confirmation. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred appointment time.
 

2. Deposits

Some nail appointments may require a booking deposit.

  • Deposits are non-refundable

  • Deposits can be transferred if at least 24 hours’ notice is given when rescheduling

  • Failure to attend an appointment or cancelling late may result in loss of deposit
     

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Failure to attend an appointment without notice may result in:

  • A cancellation fee

  • Full payment for missed appointments

  • A deposit requirement for future bookings
     

4. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

Clients arriving more than 10–15 minutes late may need to:

  • Shorten their treatment

  • Reschedule their appointment

  • Pay a late cancellation fee if there is not enough time to complete the service
     

5. Nail Services & Pricing

A full list of nail services and prices is available on our website.

Services include:

  • BIAB nails

  • Gel polish

  • Acrylic extensions

  • Nail art

  • Manicures & pedicures

Prices may change at any time without prior notice. However, the price confirmed at the time of booking will always be honoured.

Extra nail art, repairs, long nail designs, or add-on services may incur additional charges.
 

6. Nail Repairs & Fixes

We take pride in the quality of our work.

  • Any issues with nails must be reported within 48 hours of your appointment

  • Fixes within this period may be offered free of charge where appropriate

  • Breakages caused by accidental damage, improper aftercare, or regular wear and tear may be chargeable

No refunds are given for completed nail services.
 

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Inform us of any allergies, infections, nail conditions, or medical concerns before treatment

  • Follow proper nail aftercare advice

  • Avoid picking, biting, or forcefully removing nail products

We are not responsible for damage caused by poor aftercare or removal carried out by another salon.
 

8. Infills & Foreign Work

We may refuse infills on nails applied by another salon if the product quality or condition does not meet our standards.

In some cases, removal and a fresh set may be required.
 

9. Children & Extra Guests

For health and safety reasons:

  • Children under 12 must be supervised at all times

  • Extra guests may be asked to wait outside during busy periods

  • The salon environment contains sharp tools and chemicals, so we ask clients to keep children seated and supervised
     

10. Salon Hygiene & Safety

We follow strict hygiene procedures to maintain a clean and safe salon environment.

  • All tools and equipment are sanitised and sterilised after each client

  • Disposable items are used where necessary

  • We reserve the right to refuse treatment if there are signs of infection or conditions that may affect the safety of the service
     

11. Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase

  • Vouchers are non-transferable

  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash
     

12. Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. Gloss & Glow by Lida is not liable for any lost or damaged items.
 

13. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in line with UK data protection regulations.
